Teacher - Schedule Grade Sync to PowerSchool

As of January 2024, Schoology now allows teachers to schedule grade syncing to PowerSchool either daily or weekly.  We recommend setting this up to run nightly.  The more frequently it runs, the less sync accuracy issues we are seeing. 

To set up Grade Sync:

• Click on the PowerSchool link in the left hand menu of your course links.
• Click the Configuration Button
• In Grade Sync, click the "Schedule Sync" checkbox
• Select Daily for the frequency, and select either 9pm-12am, or 12am to 3am.
• You can select Use this schedule for all my existing courses, but since this feature is new we would recommend setting it up for each class.

Once you have set up the schedule, click the Sync Grades button at the top, and select "Sync All Changes".  This will do a final manual sync before the scheduled syncs take place, and let you check for any errors.  It is also a good idea to set a reminder for yourself to check for any sync failures once a week to make sure the process is working.
