Senior Account Checkout - Google Takeout

When you graduate from LPOSD, your account stays active for 120 days before being disabled and recycled.  If there are files or photos that you want to keep, you can do one of two things.

• Login to your Google Drive and download just the files you want to keep.
• Use Google Takeout to zip all of your files.  
  
  • When logged into your Email or Drive in a browser, click your image in the top right and select "Manage your Google Account".
  • On the left, select "Data & Privacy".
  • Scroll to the bottom and select "Download your data".
  • There are over 50 services, click "Deselect All" and then click
    • Drive
    • Google Photos
    • Mail (optional if you want your email saved)
  • Click Next and select "Send Download link via email"
  • Choose "Export Once" for frequency and keep it ".zip" for format.
  • Click "Create Export" and the process will start.  It takes hours to generate depending on your folder size, and you will get an email with the download link(s) once it is ready.

Also make sure that you check Google Photos and make sure that you download any synced photos that you want to keep.
