Schoology Parent Support - Create Account
Overview
Schoology (through PowerSchool) offers many support links for parents. Click the following link to access the page. If you need additional help after reviewing the links, see our other knowledge base articles or contact the LPOSD Help Desk.
Create a Parent Account
To create a parent Schoology account and link to your student, log in to your Parent PowerSchool account here, and on the grades and attendance page there should be a section titled, "For students in grades 7 through 12" with the necessary information, including your Student Access Code. Copy the Access Code for the next step.
If that method doesn't work or your child is in elementary and using Schoology, you can contact your student's school to get the Schoology Access Code, or email helpdesk@lposd.org.
Once you have the Access Code, go to this page and enter the code to either create your account, or add another child to your existing account.
I Had a Schoology Account in another District
If you moved from another school district that had Schoology, you have a few options. You can:
- Contact your old School District and ask them to delete you account.
- Create your account with LPOSD with a different email account.
- If you have multiple accounts in Schoology, you can Link them together.
