Adding a Signature to Email in Google Mail

On a Computer
  • Open Gmail in your web browser.
  • Click the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
  • Click See all settings.
  • Stay on the General tab and scroll down near the bottom to the Signature section.
  • Click Create new and type a name for your signature (like "Work" or "Personal").
  • Type or paste your signature text into the box. You can use the built-in toolbar to change fonts, make text bold, add links, or insert images.
  • Under Signature defaults, choose if you want your signature to show up automatically for new emails or replies/forwards.
  • Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click Save changes.
