Including/Excluding students from Class Rank

This is intended only for high schools that utilize class ranking. Middle school courses are purposefully set to not include class rank as this would impact high school class ranking, specifically for students who take high school courses during 7th or 8th grade.

Only full-time students should be included in class ranking.

With the student selected go to https://lposd.powerschool.com/admin/students/misc.html

On the right side on Exclude from Class Ranking:

• turn the check box on to exclude from class ranking
• turn the check box off to include the student in class ranking

To search for all students with the "Exclude from class ranking" turn on, from the main PowerSchool page, put the following in the student search bar "Exclude_fr_rank=1" without the quotations. Any student selected currently is not included in Class Rank.

Once a student is excluded or included in the class rank you or someone with permission will need to re-run the class ranking here https://lposd.powerschool.com/admin/schoolsetup/gpa/classrankrecalcfrequency.html This does take a few moments to run.
