Teachers: Allowing or blocking access to a site during class time

Many sites that are blocked or allowed by the Classwize filter are blocked so a teacher can override this during class time. This is especially helpful if you discover a broken link during class or something you don't want available during your class but might be okay in others.

To open or block a site:

1. Open the class on Classwize, the link to Classwize is in your LPOSD Folder or here ClassWize
   1. If necessary start the class, make sure the ending time matches with your class
2. On the right-hand side, click on 'rules'
3. Click on "Create Rule"
4. Fill out the URL, category, or app (Windows or Mac only) you want to allow or block
5. Select the block or allow option.
6. Additionally, you can set these rules for certain students by selecting the 'whole class' option, then providing what students get the allowance or block.
