Create a Time Off Request
STEP 1: Log into Skyward.
On LPOSD Chrome Bookmark Bar, choose SKYWARD PORTAL.
Sign into Skyward using GOOGLE AUTHENTICATION.
STEP 2: In Employee Access, click the REQUEST TIME OFF tile.
STEP 3: Click ADD TIME OFF TRANSACTION near the top right of the screen.
STEP 4: Transaction Type -
Add a Single Day or a Date Range.
STEP 5: Start/End Date -
Click on the date field to enter the date.
STEP 6: Employee Time off Type -
C lick the icon to show the drop-down
list. Click on SELECT to the left of the Time Off Type you would like to choose.
STEP 7: Time Off Reason -
C lick the icon to show the drop-down list. Click
on SELECT to the left of the Time Off Reason you would like to select. You will
generally select USED .
STEP 8: Employee Hours Per Day -
Enter the number of hours/days you would
like to request.
Certified: Enter time off in DAYS . You can enter a time off request for a full or half day.
Classified: Enter time off in HOURS . You can enter a time off request in 15 minute
increments. If you normally work 8 hours/day, you would enter 8 to request a full day off.
If you are scheduled to work 6 hours/day, you would enter 6 to request a full day off.
STEP 9: Save & Request Substitute -
If you need to request a sub, make sure
the REQUEST SUBSTITUTE box is checked. Once you save the transaction,
you will be directed to Frontline to request the sub.
